Kyle Kushman developed Strawberry Cough in 2000 by chance, receiving a small clone from a fellow breeder, which had been grown next to a strawberry patch in Connecticut. Kushman was struck by the clone’s pungent strawberry scent – it became Strawberry Field and crossed it with a Haze plant. The result was Strawberry Cough, which tastes soft and sweet.
