NukeHeads SUPER PURPLE 2.0 – PHOTO

Purple-1A is an all-new NukeHeads’ all-exclusive super purple strain 2.0. Under neon light, this fox-tailed super purple strain looks just like an alien to Earth. Under cold conditions, the entire plant from top to bottom will turn purple. Although the name bears “purple,” the buds will likely grow green with purple tints. This strain’s lineage includes “purple aromatics,” a term for weed strains from the 1990s that didn’t smell like weed at all, lacking the danky smell of swag. Rather, the strain’s purpling aroma smells entirely exotic. In cold temperatures, this phenotype will express beautiful exotic purple colors.

This genetic is a cross of many famous purples, old and new. It was created by Ken Estes, who bred Purple Haze and Big Bud, which he then backcrossed to Grand Daddy Purple. We then crossed it with NukeDaddy and Purple Elephant to create a frosty, potent, and out-of-this-world genetic that grows well in cold climates and looks spectacular indoor or outdoor. The chlorophyll pigment responsible for this behavior is anthocyanin, which is expressed when subjected to cold. The leaves will normally be green from start to finish unless subjected to cold, in which dark green/purple appearing fan leaves will result.

ALSO NOTE: There have been reports that this strain will grow entirely green, showing no purpling. However, it will smell the same as the purpling phenotype expression. If this strain doesn’t purple and grows entirely green, it may output a higher THC level and yield. Although we’ve worked to isolate a consistent dark purple, we’ve seen cases where this genetic turned beautiful purple at some users’ homes, and in others, it didn’t purple at all. As we’ve not yet fully stabilized this purple genetic and have undergone cross backs and an F4 generation, it is close to a true breed dark solid purple.
