As Auto Gorilla Purple matures, you will notice that she has a dominant main cola but also excellent side branching. She will get almost as wide as she is tall, and due to the incredible resin production, that comes from the Gorilla Glue ancestry, the buds on side branches can get super heavy and may need to be supported. The buds on this plant can get coke-bottle sized and are very dense with an incredible covering of sticky trichomes. Although some of the purple coloring from its parent has diminished, certain individuals will produce some beautiful purple buds.
Yields for the strain can range from 2-3 ounces per plant (60-90g) in a basic soil grow to 10 ounces per plant (280g) in a high-quality hydro setup. All of this will be achieved in around 10 weeks from germination to harvest. Auto Purple Gorilla gives off a delicious citrus aroma with earthy notes, as well as some fruity flavors.

This is my absolute favorite Auto strain! I’m NOT a fan of autos because they take almost the same amount of time but deliver soooo much less yield but NOT Purple Gorilla ?. The yield was monstrous for an auto 6.3 Oz from one plant. The smell is very strong so if smell is an issue then this may not be the one you want to grow or use “Ona Gel Odor Neutralizer” to mask the smell. I use it and it works very well! When it comes to potency it’s very potent. I have high tolerance and this strain without an official test i can tell it’s in high 20’s THC levels, I’d say around 26-30% THC. This plant grows tall and needs room to spread its wings and you’ll get a great yield. I wish i could post pictures with this review so you can see the final result for yourself! This strain is absolutely stunning all around! Try it, you won’t regret it, it’s worth every penny trust me!
